Home-style chicken and cordyceps
One benefit of living in Singapore is being in the middle of a culinary melting pot where amazing food is just a stones throw from your doorstep. That said, if you're anything like us, you often find yourself craving something homey, simple but still bursting with flavor. When we get that feeling, we default to this dish, where the ingredients do the talking: Sweetness from the wongbok, umami from the shiitakes, earthiness from the cordyceps and fragrance from the garlic/ginger/scallion medley. A light coating of a miso based sauce and homey never tasted this good.
